Title: PT after the PT
Characters: Brosch
Rating: PG for sadly worksafe shirtless dude
Medium: Photoshop and drawing tablet
Notes: Happy belated birthday, dude! Due to my extreme suckage, I had you down for the 26th, but actually your birthday was yesterday. Hope this helps to make up for it? Oh, and this is set during my fic The Phoney War.

For those of you wondering why Brosch has automail, or if you read the header wrong and this is Ed, only with the leg on the wrong side and six inches taller … it's Brosch. Poor dude lost the leg to a nasty gunshot wound in The Phoney War. Lucky for him, Winry still hasn't forgotten he saved Ed back in Lab 5. Enemy has been patiently lobbying for some kind of illo of him enjoying pool therapy/rock pool/Rush Valley hot springs we never heard about.

Haha, yes, Arakawa never stops being epic. ♥ Also, I'd meant to ask if his leg had a higher carbon rating than usual (or if Winry was using a different alloy that wasn't high in carbon, but still more unusual) given the darker finish his leg has. I know with you it's more likely there is an explanation behind the shading choice rather than an "oops, I shaded it darker for some reason" like I might do. XD I'm trying to recall from the story if she'd talked about the leg in detail, but it's lunch time and it's been a while. I'd have to refresh myself.

Whoops, forgot to say THANK YOU again, I love it and it was totally unnecessary but is very well loved. ♥

Actually, this one time, the reason actually is "I shaded it darker then ran out of time to play with shading". XD She doesn't talk about it in-story, but I'm sure Winry quizzed him extensively on what he'd be doing with the leg so she could decide on alloys. Since he's in the army, though, I'm sure she presumed he'd be kicking teh shit out of it/with it so it's something pretty strong. <-- I just explained my way out of it, yay me

I can't believe you just said semi-naked Brosch was unnecessary. XD

I've decided that Winry used black PVD to reduce friction (thereby reducing user maintenance as it needs less lubrication), and also to add some strength and endurance to the outer casings as well. <-- There, it's officially been settled. I am so good to you.

OMG, when you put it like that! D: I meant you taking time out of your crazy stupid schedule to draw something was unnecessary. I would have kept lobbying for Brosch in the meantime. ^^;

You are so good to me! Ed will be jealous of the badass black automail.

Haha, this actually only took me an hour or two yesterday evening, and it was fun. XD I'm getting quicker these days.

If everyone makes it and Ed sees this leg, he is so going to be jealous. :D
